This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in commercial and agricultural credit analysis, loan underwriting, and relationship banking while learning from experienced lenders.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field
- Interest in commercial/agricultural lending
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous banking experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work with minimal direction
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Compensation
- Salary $50,000 -$75,000

Finance Officer - Plainview
Peoples State Bank is hiring a professional that is looking to build a career in banking, finance and accounting. This is a great opportunity to provide high-level administrative, financial and operational support within a community banking environment. The Finance Officer works closely with bank leadership to support the banks financial objectives and operational excellence.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area.
- Desire candidate to have 3-5+ years of experience in banking, accounting or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
- Salary $50,000 -$80,000
